About the Assessment Planner

Assessment information for different ANU courses can be spread across different course pages. This prototype explores a simpler way for a student to keep the assessments they need to complete in one place.

What it does

• lets a student search the ANU course catalogue by course code or title
• allows a course to be entered manually if it isn’t listed
• lets the student add an assessment with a title, due date, and optional weight
• stores assessments persistently
• orders assessments by due date
• separates past and upcoming assessments using the current date
• allows assessments to be deleted

What it doesn’t do

This is a focused student prototype, not a replacement for the whole ANU course or learning-management system. It intentionally leaves out:

• authentication or accounts
• notifications
• grade calculation
• collaboration
• automatic Wattle or ANU system integration
